The three-phase motors 3MA series, closed, externally fan cooled, manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules , are available in the sizes from 160 up to 355, with pole number 2, 4,6 and 8 and with output power from 4 kW up to 315 kW.
They are featured by cast iron frame with fixed feet, by the IP 55 protection level, by the F class insulation, by bearings equipped with greasing facilities ( apart from the 160 size where for life lubricated bearings are foreseen ) and by PTC type thermoprotectors on windings.
