The absolute moisture meter is a precision device for determining the moisture content in small samples of materials by drying the sample with halogen heaters. The moisture analyser balance can be used as a moisture measuring tool and it can determine the dryness content. The heating chamber of the moisture analyser balance can be heated up to 160°C and holds the adjusted temperature at +/- 1°C during the drying process of an assay. The precision balance of the moisture analyser balance can be weighed up to max. 210 g and delivers a reading precision of 0,01 g up to 0,001 g (depending on model). The materials to be tested by the moisture analyser are: food, sugar, salt, granulates, plastics, pellets, fibers, liquids such as sludge and mixtures of all kinds. The moisture analyser balance is a multipurpose device. Our moisture analyser balance compares the initial weight with the final weight (after the drying) and draws conclusions concerning the moisture content by means of the difference in weight. You can choose between the moisture content in relation to the initial weight, in relation to the final weight or in relation to the current weight. A typical drying procedure involves choosing a drying temperature, a time interval - for example 100 degrees for 10 minutes- and a mode - % solids. Automatic external calibration using either 100 g or 200 g calibration weight (depending on the model) guarantees ongoing accurate results.
