The automotive tester MBT 261 allows the fast and simple testing of 6 V and 12 V car batteries. Unlike many other devices, the automotive tester is able to check batteries during on-load operation. The device is also capable of executing starter and load circuit measurements. Its robust design makes the car battery tester a durable measuring instrument. In order to perform a test, the car battery tester simply has to be connected to the battery by using the two cables. After this, the test sequence can be started by pushing the switch on the device. After a few seconds, the test result can be viewed on the analogue scale reading.
